You should also choose the type of shoes that have a layer of pillow on the heels, large shoe soles for limiting the turning of the feet when running, use boots for better protection to your ankles, choose lighter shoes so that when you run you don't have to carry any extra weight, the shoes should have certain flexibility for the feet to move naturally. You should also pay attention as the people with too much weight also often get knee injuries, because when they run the pressure on the knee increase greatly.When in this situation, you should change to walking until you lose some weight then change back to running.
